Correct sleeping posture

Your posture matters a lot when you sleep. If you keep the incorrect posture during sleep, you will become more and more tired. Many people wake up in the morning feeling pain in the back and exhaustion. Come down to its reasons, it is mainly because of improper sleeping position.

Experts say that the correct sleeping posture should be lying with your right side with your legs naturally bending. This is because on the left side it is heart. When we are lying on the right side, the pressure exerted on hear is smaller which is favorable for free blood circulation and better metabolism. The food in stomach can also take advantage of gravity to go into the duodenum. It can promote digestion and absorption. But you should pay attention not to sleep on pillow which is too thin , otherwise it will cause neck discomfort.

Lie on your back is the most common sleeping positure.But if you take this posture, your body and lower limbs can only be fixed to stay straight. It will not help you achieve the result of relaxing your whole body. When there is increased intra-abdominal pressure,you can easily get the feeling of being suffocated and chest tightness. If you lie on your back, you will consciously or unconsciously put the hands on your chest which can pressure your heart.and trigger nightmares. People who snoring or with respiratory diseases had better not take this sleeping posture.

When you lie on your stomach during sleep, the body weight are mostly on the ribs and abdomen, exerting pressure on chest and diaphragm and affecting breathing. It will increase the burden of heart and increase lumbar vertebra radian which can affect pressure on the small joint behind the spine. What's more, you can only sleep on one side of your head which can easily cause cervical muscle damage. People with heart disease, high blood pressure, cerebral thrombosis, should not take this posture.
